Bonjour! We are Christophe and Lara, the French and English husband and wife duo behind the Melbourne based mobile Crêpe catering business, and Crêperie Café, Crêpe Délices! Having grown up in European and French families, who were obsessed with good quality food, we naturally embraced a lifestyle centred around food and drink.

Crêpe Délices are the experts when it comes to helping you host a “Crêpe Day” or “Languages Day”, or any “Special Day”. Our incursion experience for your Primary or Secondary School is the perfect way for students to use and practice their French language skills to converse with us and place their crêpe order in French, and then watch a freshly cooked crêpe being made right in front of their eyes, with their chosen filling!

Our efficient cooking process and friendly approachable style, allows teachers to bring their students out during class time to enjoy a Crêpe (or two), and still have time to complete class schedules/requirements during that period if need be.

Crêpe Délices is also the perfect choice for University and TAFE College Open Days, Student Days or School Fêtes.

Authentic French Crêpes and Handcrafted Artisan  Lemonade, made using traditional family recipes and high-quality ingredients. From our unmistakably delicious flavour combination of La Ella (Nutella, Strawberries & Biscoff Biscuit Crumb), to the savoury goodness of our La Complète (Sliced Ham, Emmental Breton Cheese, Onion Confit & Herbs de Provence), or the simple but legendary Lemon & Sugar, there is a flavour combination to suit everyone’s tastebuds!  All this paired with a refreshing glass of our handcrafted artisan Lemonade, made with only the juiciest lemons, will leave your tastebuds tingling and wanting more!

Margaux

A bespoke approach to catering, Margaux ensures that every occasion brings elegance and sophistication to any event.

Capabilities:
With a fully mobile food and drink bar, Margaux caters to events such as weddings, parties, corporate events, brand activations, product launches, and school events.

Best use:
Perfectly paired with Rosalie for a full food and drink service package.
Any size drink only event with access for a 5m caravan.
All in one service for small gatherings ie: Kids parties (Sweet Crêpes & Lemonade)
We also cater to markets and festivals.

Rosalie

With a warm and inviting atmosphere, our mobile beverage haven, Rosalie, is perfect for socialising and corporate events with a charming array of drinks.

Capabilities:
Rosalie is perfect for events such as weddings, parties, corporate events, brand activations, and product launches.

Best use:
Any size Drinks only event with access for a 4m(L) camper (can be moved around manually for perfect location).
Perfectly paired with Margaux for a full food and drink service package.

Agnès

Using only the juiciest lemons and a touch of French flair, Agnès offers zesty and thirst-quenching artisan lemonade (or Citron Pressé), transporting you to the streets of France.

Capabilities:
Agnès is perfect for events such as weddings, parties, corporate events, brand activations, and product launches. Purely a beverage experience, Agnès can serve up to 50 and more guests.

Best use:
Any size drinks only event.
Perfectly paired with Margaux for a full food and drink service package.
Great option as a dry hire bar.
Markets and pop-up events.

Madeline

Our Crêpe Cart, Madeline, caters to any event providing traditional crêpes with a variety of mouth watering options that will leave you wanting more.

Capabilities:
Madeline is perfect for high volume output for schools, or smaller gatherings/events. She has a small footprint (1.8m L/W), and can go almost anywhere.

Best use: 
Primary & Secondary schools.
Universities & TAFE’s.
Smaller events.
Markets and pop-up events.

Schools Catering FAQ's

How long is service?

On average we serve 2 Crepes per minute. This includes a French language conversation with the students. On average we can service a full class in 15 to 20 minutes.

How many students can you serve in one day?

Up to 400, including free trade at Recess and Lunch time.

Can non-French class students purchase Crêpes?

Oui! We are happy to serve through recess and Lunch for all other students to purchase a Crêpe, and also service other classes if time permits throughout the day.

How much is a Crêpe?

Crêpes are $8 each with one filling.

Can I pre order and pay for a set amount of Crêpes?

Oui! We require a minimum pre order of 200 crêpes and all pre-orders must be paid before we attend the school. We will provide an invoice. If you require more Crêpes than have been pre ordered, just let us know and we can tally up the extras and invoice you post event. No refunds are available if your minimum pre order is not used.

Do you provide Gluten free Crêpes?

No, we are unable to do this at schools.

What time do you require bump in?

60 to 90mins before the first class, this is dependent on set up location and access.

Do you require power?

Oui! We require one regular power outlet (10amp or 15amp).

Do we have a Working with Children’s check?

Oui! We do and they will be sent through upon request.

Do you have insurance?

Oui! We have Public Liability insurance that can be sent through upon request.

What are Madeline’s (Crêpe Cart) and Margaux’s (food caravan) dimensions?

Madeline requires a 3x3m sheltered space. If no shelter available we bring our own shelter it would be a 3x3m marquee. Margaux requires 6mx3m space with enough room to place her in the spot.

Do you need a car parking space?

Oui, s’il vous plaît! We need to be able to park our car and trailer (if using Madeline). If using Margaux, then a space for our car.
